The Unskilled - Yan Jia Yu Documentary

2018-12-22

Sketching and color sensitivity seem to be a human instinct brought by civilization. Given a pen and a box of water colors, a child would instinctively know how to draw. Just as Picasso once said, "Children are painters by nature."

Children sketch and doodle with their special sparks, which adults can hardly expect. "Unskilled artists" are such a group of artists who had no prior artistic training. There is no rule in their creation that their works preserves an original state of imagination. As such, endless impulses within the artworks break the frames and reach out to audience .

In this vast world where has no fence, there is a tiger inside me sniffs roses.
